March is women's appreciation month.
Appreciating women is... reflecting on the great qualities of the women in your life.
It is recognizing their beauty, special gifts, and accomplishments.
It is respecting their courage, their knowledge and their opinions.
Not just the women you know, but also those you don't,
Women have been oppressed, they haven't held the power.
Power corrupts, so look to a woman for less corruption.
We still need black history month and women's appreciation month,
because the oppression continues to bear its ugly head.
Maybe it is a thing of nature---males able to power over,
There are differences between male and female...and then there aren't.
The differences are nature. No differences...this is a call, a responsibility to rise above natural law.
No Jew, no gentile, no male, no female, when all are serving all.
My wife is a great friend, and friends sharpen each other.
I have a lot to learn about women yet, and much of my oppression.
Celebrate women, celebrate V-day.
Doing so does not condone a freedom of choice for abortion.
For that is not a choice of freedom, but of more oppression, more death.
Men can't comprehend in fullness what it means to carry and mother a child.
We can even skip out---a woman can not, she is tied.
Yet, the answer is not abortion, death rarely is---even if the fetus is not yet a human being.
The answer might be service, it eliminates all boundaries.
How much more do we as men, as a society need to serve women?
Creating better access to contraceptives, birth control, family planning,
Not to mention, to education, employment and
removing women as idols---physical bodies to bring men pleasure,
these are ways to serve women, so that they can serve their babies.
Bring it back home, I am selfish, and what better way to start fighting against that nature,
than to start serving my lovely ladies!
